House Manager


Position Summary: The House Manager provides oversight and support for adult residents within Ava Health's residential program. This role involves ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured living environment, monitoring resident activities, and facilitating positive interactions among residents. 12-Hour Shifts available (AM and PM).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct oversight and monitoring of residents to ensure compliance with program rules and house guidelines.
  • Facilitate daily house routines, including meal times, chores, curfew compliance, and group activities.
  • Supervise the self-administration of client's medications and managing safety related to their medications
  • Offer support and guidance to residents, encouraging positive interactions and behaviors.
  • Conduct routine house checks and room inspections to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Communicate resident concerns or incidents promptly to clinical staff and supervisors.
  • Assist residents with accessing resources and referrals as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of daily activities and incidents.

  • QMAP required - can be acquired immediately after hire with additional class that Ava Health will cover - this is statewide accredited certification.

Additional Requirements:

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining certifications.
  • If in recovery, a minimum of 1 year of sobriety is required.
