Job description

We are currently seeking a CVT (Commercial Vehicle Team) Adjuster to investigate and adjust assigned commercial auto property damage, CGL PD and garage claims. The adjuster will determine liability, secures information, reviews coverages, and settles claims.

What you will do:

  • Investigate assigned claims including initial investigation, evaluating coverage, negotiating settlements and setting reserves within authority limits, time standards and company best practices.
  • Interpret damage appraisal reports, identifying subrogation opportunities and negotiating claims to successful conclusion or transfer of file to regional adjuster.
  • Handle all assigned inventory of claims within departmental guidelines, following Best Practices and FCCI policies and procedures for property and casualty claims.
  • Work with and may coordinate the work of independent adjusters and miscellaneous vendors in an attempt to handle claims effectively and contain expenses.

This position will be located in our Midwest Regional Office in Carmel, IN. The role is eligible for a hybrid work environment of (3) days per week in the office and (2) days per week working from home after an introductory period.

The salary range for this position is $24.80 - $38.19 hourly. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
