As a Registered Nurse at our Inglewood community in West Vancouver, you play a vital role in delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to our residents. Guided by BCCNM standards and Baptist Housingโ€™s ministry values, you provide clinical leadership, support person-centred care planning, and contribute to a collaborative team environment. You act as a role model and ambassador for Baptist Housing, demonstrating servant leadership while supporting residents, families, and colleagues. Inglewood is ideally located near Ambleside Park and Capilano River Regional Park, offering a beautiful and accessible work setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with BCCNM standards and organizational policies
  • Conduct resident assessments and manage care for residents with complex or unstable health conditions
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Lead and support the development and implementation of individualized, person-centred care plans
  • Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to team members
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families to support quality outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and best practice implementation
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, infection control, and risk management protocols

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
  • A member in good standing or eligible for membership with British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Food Safe Certificate
  • Experience as a nurse in a long-term care environment, preferably.
