Position Details
  • Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Status: Temporary Part-Time
  • Rotation: Two (2) Days on, Four (4) Days Off
  • Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Start Date: October 1, 2026
  • End Date: May 9, 2028

Compensation: Wages and benefits are provided in accordance with the applicable BCNU Collective Agreement.

Job Description: 

As an RN with our team, you will be responsible for: 

  • Resident admissions, discharges and transfers
  • Resident assessments and care planning
  • Administration of medications, treatments and wound care
  • Proficient with electronic documentation (PointClickCare) and MDS Assessments
  • Liaises with physicians, families and other
  • Delegates tasks to unregulated care providers
  • Charge Nurse responsibilities: participates in Care Conferences and Medication reviews.

Qualifications: 

  • Registered and in good standing with BCCNM
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • Competent in electronic documentation and EMar
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Previous experience in Long Term Care Preferred
  • Proof of Vaccination
