About the Role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic SDE1 Back-End Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation Practice Management platform.

This position will focus on designing and implementing architectural solutions for modernizing our platform to evolve with our growing business needs. You will lead efforts in maintaining critical services that are a key component of our operations.

You will be part of a dynamic team that thrives on innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.

Your Area of Focus
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable software applications using Spring Boot, Java, and cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to architect robust and scalable solutions that meet business requirements. Provide input into the technical direction of the team and product.
  • Design, implement, and advocate for critical services that serve as foundational building blocks for product features, as well as improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring that the team adheres to best practices for clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Ensure high-quality code standards and contribute to the continuous evolution of our technology stack.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming. Contribute to defining and prioritizing work within the team.
  • Continuously research and apply emerging technologies and industry best practices to improve the development process and product quality.
  • Use AI tools to support the software development process.
Your Professional Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming concepts, data structures and algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to optimize performance, and scalability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Preferred: experience with Spring, version control, and relational databases.
