 Dental Practice Manager Job in Happy Valley, OR 

 A well-established and growing dental practice in Happy Valley, OR is seeking an experienced Dental Practice Manager to lead daily operations, support team development, and drive practice success. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated healthcare leader with strong experience in dental office management, team leadership, patient relations, and business operations. 

 The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of dental management experience and a proven ability to improve office efficiency, enhance patient satisfaction, and support financial performance in a fast-paced dental environment.

Key Responsibilities 

As the Dental Practice Manager, you will: 

  • Oversee all daily dental office operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and exceptional patient care 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop administrative and clinical team members 
  • Manage scheduling, staffing, workflow processes, and office performance metrics 
  • Monitor production, collections, accounts receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting 
  • Utilize practice management software for scheduling, reporting, billing, and operational oversight 
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all applicable dental industry regulations 
  • Support patient retention and practice growth initiatives through excellent customer service and operational excellence 
  • Resolve patient concerns professionally and effectively 
  • Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management activities 
  • Manage vendor relationships, inventory control, and office supplies 
  • Collaborate with doctors and leadership to achieve practice goals and improve overall business performance 

Required Qualifications 

  • Minimum 5 years of Dental Practice Manager experience 
  • Proven leadership and team management experience 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills 
  • Experience managing dental office finances, insurance processes, billing, and collections 
  • Knowledge of dental practice operations and patient scheduling systems 
  • Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and compliance standards 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business software applications
