Office Manager (Operations & Accounting)
Location: Onsite - NE Portland, Oregon Schedule: Monday-Friday, full time Pay Rate: $25-$33 per hour DOE Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Job Overview
LHH Recruitment is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Manager to support day-to-day office operations with a strong emphasis onaccounting support, payroll entry, and billing.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings prior experience supporting accounting or operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accounting-related administrative support, including data entry and document tracking
  • Enter and maintain payroll data accurately and on schedule
  • Assist with job setup in internal systems (new jobs, projects, or cost codes)
  • Set up and maintain billing records; support invoicing and related documentation
  • Coordinate with accounting, operations, and leadership to ensure accurate and timely financial processing
  • Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with internal procedures
  • Provide general office management and administrative support as needed
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in office management, accounting support, payroll, or billing required
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with accounting or ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a hands-on, onsite environment
  • Dependable, professional, and self?directed
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Experience
  • Background in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments
  • Bachelors Degree or furthering education in Business, Finance or similar
Pay Details: $25.00 to $33.00 per hour
