Job Description

We're looking for a BIM Modeler / Coordinator to produce accurate, well-coordinated 3D models of HVAC piping and ductwork systems using Revit and Navisworks. You'll focus on model development, multi-trade clash detection, and field coordination - partnering with our engineers and designers to deliver constructable projects from concept through installation.

Position Information

Location: St. Louis, MO 63146

Schedule: On-site, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities
  • Model HVAC equipment, ductwork, and piping systems in Revit to project and company standards
  • Run clash detection in Navisworks, generate clash reports, and drive resolutions with other trades
  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings and track issues through to closeout
  • Produce construction drawings, sections, and details directly from the Revit model
  • Maintain model accuracy, consistency, and alignment with internal BIM standards and project execution plans
  • Support field engineering efforts, including trade coordination and document management
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, model files, and records
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to deliver work that meets NDBS standards
Qualifications and Education Requirements

Required

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the HVAC or MEP industry
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (MEP) and Navisworks
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with HVAC piping and ductwork systems, fittings, and installation practices
  • Ability to interpret Architectural, Structural, Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection documents and models
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously

Nice to Have

  • Experience running clash detection workflows and managing model coordination
  • Exposure to BIM execution plans and Common Data Environments (CDEs)
Physical & Work Requirements
  • Travel to job sites where walking, climbing, lifting, carrying items, and navigating unfinished sites without assistance may be required
  • Operate standard office equipment, computers, and related software
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, designers, trade partners, and field personnel to identify coordination issues and develop practical solutions
