Job Description
Allied Universal is looking to hire a Security Intervention Specialist. The primary function of the Security Intervention Specialist is to monitor surveillance cameras and alarm monitoring systems, respond to event-driven alarms in a timely and effective manner, and document any activity and contact support systems in the event of an emergency. This is a 24/7 call center environment that requires individuals to sit for long periods of time. This is a full time role that is required to be in office 100% of the time.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shifts Available
  • 1st Shift (7am - 3pm)
  • 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm)
  • 3rd Shift (11pm - 7am)

Mandatory Paid Training Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm for the first two weeks

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position.
  • High customer service acumen in a call center environment
  • Can effectively communicate over the phone and email
  • Basic level of monitoring customer's cameras and alarm systems remotely
  • Effectively respond to event-driven alarms in a timely matter via telephone and/or email communication based on the client's specific protocol
  • Conduct virtual escorts daily as deemed timely by the contract specifications
  • Conduct virtual patrols of the assigned client's property
  • Complete hourly call-ins
  • Handling camera maintenance checks
  • Handle site incidents
  • Complete incident reports
  • Complete event reports

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain a TOPS alarm system monitoring license during our paid on the job training
  • Minimum of one year in a dispatching, security, customer service, or call center role
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Must be able to effectively verbally communicate to direct, control, and/or assist in the event of a crisis.
  • Proficient in the basics of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years' experience controlling cameras
  • Minimum of two years experience in law enforcement, security or the military
  • Demonstrated the ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments, and effectively manage deadlines. Must be highly organized and able to keep executive on track with required information available at all times
