At Millennium Space Systemsโ€”part of Boeing Defense, Space & Securityโ€”youโ€™ll join a crew of curious builders and boundaryโ€‘pushers delivering national security spacecraft with realโ€‘world impact.

As our Aerospace Wiring Harness Senior Technologist, youโ€™ll own the transformation from drawings to flightโ€‘ready cabling, ensuring repeatable, spaceโ€‘grade quality. This is a 100% onsite role with primary coverage on second shift.

Your impact (dayโ€‘toโ€‘day)
  • Translate schematics and mechanical drawings into routed, labeled, and terminated harnesses for spacecraft and ground systems (racks and avionics boxes included).
  • Execute precision solder, crimp, and inspection to spaceโ€‘flight workmanship standards.
  • Keep immaculate records in digital systems while upholding cleanroom, PPE, FOD, tool control, and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with team leads and supervisors to anticipate production issues and keep builds on track.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs and flex to other duties as needed to meet milestones.
  • Mentor new teammates; share tips, checks, and best practices.
What you bring
  • 4+ years of technician experience in aerospace or a similar highโ€‘reliability environment.
  • Jโ€‘STDโ€‘001 (space addendum) and NASAโ€‘STDโ€‘8739.4 certifications.
  • Demonstrated craftsmanship and the ability to pass a practical soldering and crimp test.
  • Experience with hand tools and troubleshooting electronic components and assemblies.
  • Ability to interpret harness diagrams, schematics, mechanical drawings, and circuit layouts.
  • Cleanroom experience; PPE familiarity; unwavering safety focus with FOD prevention and tool control.
  • Competence using computer applications for build documentation.
Bonus points
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork.
  • MS Office fluency.
  • Inโ€‘process verification (2PV) capability.
  • 4+ years working with a range of harness tools, including manual and pneumatic crimpers.
  • IPC/WHMAโ€‘Aโ€‘620 knowledge.
Where and how youโ€™ll work
  • Onsite presence is required (100%). Selected candidates will work at one of the listed location options.
  • This role is primarily second shift; additional shift coverage may be required. You must be able to work any shift as assigned.

  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens and eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance (interim and/or final postโ€‘start); ongoing employment requires maintaining clearance.
