  • 20-25 hours/week, 5 Month Assignment

A leading medical institution is seeking a Radiology Didactic Trainer to provide didactic instruction within an 18-month radiography education program.

Radiology Didactic Trainer Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver didactic instruction covering radiographic science, positioning and procedures, radiation physics and protection, image production, and patient care.
  • Develop course materials and assessments aligned with JRCERT Standards, ARRT content specifications, and current professional practice.
  • Evaluate student learning using objective, equitable, and documented criteria while identifying and addressing academic challenges.
  • Analyze course outcomes and student performance data to identify opportunities for instructional and curriculum improvements.
  • Support students through academic guidance and contribute to program outcomes assessment and continuous-quality-improvement initiatives.

Radiology Didactic Trainer Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience/training.
  • Current, unrestricted ARRT certification and registration in Radiography (R(R)).
  • Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) / state radiologic technology license.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of radiographic science, including positioning/procedures, radiation physics and protection, image production, and patient care.
  • Knowledge of JRCERT Standards and ARRT content specifications applicable to didactic instruction and student assessment.
  • Understanding of adult-learning principles, instructional design, competency-based education, and assessment methods is preferred.
  • Experience developing course materials and delivering educational content is preferred.
  • Experience evaluating student learning and using assessment data to improve instruction is preferred.
  • Ability to advise and support students and identify academic difficulties early.
  • Proficiency with standard office software, learning-management systems, and educational technology platforms.

Shift::

  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 am to 1:00 pm.
