Who We Are
Colgate-Palmolive Company is a global consumer products company operating in over 200 countries specializing in Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Skin Care, and Pet Nutrition. Our products are trusted in more households than any other brand in the world, making us a household name!
Join Colgate-Palmolive, a caring, innovative growth company reimagining a healthier future for people, their pets, and our planet. Guided by our core values—Caring, Inclusive, and Courageous—we foster a culture that inspires our people to achieve common goals. Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all.

Role Summary

As the Solution Analyst for SEO, GEO and Agentic Commerce, you will bridge the gap between traditional search visibility and the future of AI-driven discovery. You will sit at the critical intersection of Global IT Digital Applications, our Global Digital & Insights Organization (GDIO),  strategic agency expertise and divisional digital leads.

Responsibilities

As our Solution Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Next-Gen Search Architecture (GEO): Lead the technical strategy to transition from traditional SEO to Generative Engine Optimization. Design data structures that allow LLMs (like ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) to accurately retrieve, interpret, and recommend our products.

  • Agentic Commerce Readiness: Collaborate with the Web Factory and product teams to build "machine-readable" commerce layers. Ensure our product catalogs, pricing, and availability data are accessible to autonomous AI buying agents and smart assistants. Syndication of product data to AI enabling catalogs.

  • Cross-Functional Solution Design: Act as the technical translator between the GDIO (global leadership), external agencies (media strategy), GIT (technical implementation) and content teams. You will convert business goals (e.g., "Win the answer box in AI search") into specific technical requirements (e.g., Knowledge Graph implementation, Schema.org markup) for our connected ecosystem.

  • Knowledge Graph & Structured Data Strategy: Oversee the implementation of robust structured data and semantic web standards across global web properties to establish brand authority and entity relationships in the eyes of AI models.

  • Performance Measurement: Work with Data & Analytics teams to define new metrics for success in a "zero-click" world, measuring "Share of Model" and brand visibility within conversational AI interfaces.

  • Tech Stack Optimization: Audit and recommend improvements to the existing MarTech stack to ensure it supports high-velocity content delivery and machine-readability required for Omnichannel Demand Generation.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Technical SEO, Product Management, or Digital Solution Engineering. Experience specifically with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Collaboration Experience: Proven track record of working within a matrixed organization, specifically engaging with Global Digital leads and IT/Engineering counterparts - MUST.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of HTML, web architecture, and Structured Data (Schema.org/JSON-LD). Familiarity with Python or SQL for data analysis is a strong plus.

  • AI Literacy: Deep understanding of how LLMs function (RAG, embeddings, training data) and how they differ from traditional search algorithms.

  • Industry Background: Experience in Consumer Goods (CPG/FMCG) or Enterprise Retail, understanding the complexity of global brand sites, e-retailer ecosystems and the content supply chain for product content syndication.
