Job description

CUSTOMER CARE AGENT- BILINGUAL SPANISH and/or PORTUGUESE
Hours: This department is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

SUMMARY
The customer care agent will support the daily operation of the Client Relationship Center using already developed strong customer service skills to enhance and assist clients on vacation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To offer a professional, courteous and friendly telephone manner at all times.
  • To effectively deal with any client issues/complaints including follow up and reporting.
  • To develop and maximize local product and destination knowledge.
  • To have strong communication skills to build strong relationships with internal and external suppliers.
  • To present a professional image at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bilingual Skills a must-Spanish and/or Portuguese
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Computer literate with intermediate to advanced level of competency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and grammar skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma preferably with a minimum of one year reservations experience in the hospitality or travel industry.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and emails (in languages specific) Ability to write professional correspondence, professionally and politely responding to all emails with the time restraints published by the department.
