Job description

Hotel Maintenance Engineer
Certified Hospitality is currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated General Maintenance Engineer. The ideal candidate will be a team player, results oriented, committed to providing outstanding customer service and will be excited by the idea of creating exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Inspect hotel regularly via (PM) to ensure it meets health, safety and hotel standards
  • Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities (e.g. kitchens)
  • Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests
  • Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages)
  • Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems; hotel industry experience is a plus
  • Experience with interior and exterior paint
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly
  • Problem-solving aptitude
