Job description

The Hilton Milwaukee is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Manager. This professional will support the human capital needs of our historic convention hotel. As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will report directly to the Assistant Director of Human Resources and maintain a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Director of Human Resources to support strategic HR initiatives, operational alignment, and overall talent strategy. This role provides recruiting and talent support for Hilton Milwaukee, the newly branded The Marc Hotel, Miller Time Pub, and the Milwaukee market's shared Accounting, Sales, and Reservations offices, supporting approximately 360 associates. As a key member of the Human Resources team, your insights and leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the hotel's strategic vision.

What will you be doing?

       Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for hourly and leadership positions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer administration, and onboarding through ATS platforms (Taleo).

       Oversee recruitment-focused initiatives including job fairs, community outreach, college partnerships, internship programs, and workforce pipeline development.

       Manage and support the international J-1 program experience, including onboarding, housing coordination support, associate engagement, and program compliance.

       Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs to ensure associates receive a welcoming and consistent employment experience aligned with Hilton and Marcus standards.

       Partner with operational leaders to coordinate and monitor compliance training requirements, brand-specific training, and audit readiness.

       Support talent development, succession planning, retention initiatives, and associate engagement programs across the property.

       Maintain recruitment activity, requisitions, associate records, onboarding documentation, and HR systems including PeopleSoft and Taleo.

       Ensure compliance with company policies, collective bargaining agreements, employment laws, OSHA requirements, and hospitality industry best practices.

       Assist with performance management administration, corrective action processes, and associate relations matters as needed.

       Represent Hilton Milwaukee at recruiting events, community partnerships, and hospitality networking opportunities.

       Support associate recognition programs, engagement activities, and culture-building initiatives across the hotel.

       Provide exceptional internal associate service by responding to associate and leadership inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

       Assist the Director of Human Resources with strategic HR initiatives and operational support as needed

      Complete additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

What should you bring to the role?

       Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

       Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, or Hospitality leadership experience preferred.

       Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, associate engagement, and talent development practices.

       Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

       Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.

       Strong professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.

       Experience with HRIS, ATS platforms, Microsoft Office, and compliance tracking systems preferred.

       Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance standards, and hospitality best practices preferred.

       Bilingual Spanish preferred.

       Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while partnering collaboratively with operational leaders and HR leadership.
