Job Overview:

The Sales Account Executive – ThinkPayments is responsible for driving the adoption and growth of ThinkPayments, the integrated payment processing solution within the ThinkReservations platform. This role focuses on educating prospective and existing customers on the value of integrated payment processing, managing the sales cycle from discovery to close, and partnering with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a consultative sales professional with experience in SaaS/hospitality technology with payment processor experience. This candidate thrives on building relationships, uncovering customer needs, and helping lodging businesses improve operational efficiency and profitability.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Drive new sales and increased adoption of ThinkPayments among prospective and existing ThinkReservations customers.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer payment workflows, operational challenges, and business goals.
  • Demonstrate the benefits of integrated payment processing, including improved efficiency, security, guest experience, and reporting.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead qualification through contract execution and onboarding handoff.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and activity tracking.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Implementation, Marketing, and Product teams to maximize customer adoption and retention.
  • Stay informed on payment processing trends, card brand regulations, PCI compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Address customer objections and provide consultative recommendations tailored to each property's business needs.
  • Identify upsell and crosssell opportunities that enhance customer value within the ThinkReservations ecosystem.
  • Participate in product training, sales enablement initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, SaaS sales, or hospitality technology.
  • Experience with payment processors is a must for this role.
  • Ability to call hotel owners and GMs daily in a high call volume discipline
  • Experience with Stripe is highly desirable
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience managing opportunities within a CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple opportunities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Selfmotivated with a high degree of initiative and accountability.
