The Super 8 hotel located in Carson City, NV is seeking to hire a qualified, professional individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager.

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the hotel including, but not limited to, an emphasis on sales, financial management, development of staff, including onboarding and on-going training of employees, and guest satisfaction.

In addition, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel; accomplishing performance objectives focused on business revenue, quality assurance, and guest satisfaction.

·       Maintain hotel supplies inventory log

·       Groups, blocks, and corporate billing management

·       Utilize promotional strategies, using marketing tools to boost hotel revenue

·       Actively pursue marketing techniques to obtain new and repeat business as well as corporate accounts

·       Consistently strive to improve guest and community relations

·       Audit all guest folios daily to ensure accuracy

·       On-board all new staff members with training, as well as continuous training

·       Ensure company standards for housekeeping, decor and guest services are met

·       Ensure company breakfast standards are met and maintained

·       Maximize room revenues by anticipating and planning for market shifts; develop and monitor strategic marketing prospects

·       Develop and maintain rapport with key community contacts to ensure a visible presence in the local community

·       Oversee the security function to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and hotel assets

·       Monitors the performance of financial and operational plans for the hotel which support the overall objectives of the hotel

·       Ensure front desk resources are organized and updated, filing documents in an organized manner

·       Process, review and understand third-party reservation reconciliations

·       Process, review, and understand hotel chargebacks

·       Maintain and respond to hotel Tripadvisor reviews

·       Research and resolve hotel Customer Care cases

·       Responsible for ensuring cash on hand and change for front desk is available

·       Ensure all No-show reservation are charged and at a zero balance

·       Pre-charge all advanced reservation rate plans

·       Delegate tasks appropriately to staff and ensure all tasks are taken care of daily in an accurate manner

·       Other duties deemed necessary or appropriate by management

Job Offer & Schedule:
