Event Coordinator

Walters Wedding Estates, part of the Walters Hospitality brand, is seeking an enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our team. If you have a passion for providing exceptional hospitality and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!

As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our venue guests have the best possible experience. We are looking for someone who is confident in their communication skills, detail-oriented, and dedicated to getting the job done right.

What You’ll Do:
  • Attend detail meetings and lead rehearsal activities.
  • Oversee the wedding ceremony processional and recessional.
  • Complete coordinator tasks during receptions to ensure a smooth event flow.
  • Collaborate as part of the banquet team to deliver outstanding service.
  • Maintain venue cleanliness and organization at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Required Experience: Food and Beverage experience preferred
  • Required Certifications: TABC and Serve Safe Food Handlers certifications are required
  • Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Extreme Ownership: Take full responsibility for your tasks and ensure their successful completion.
  • Enthusiasm: Show a genuine passion for helping clients and making their events memorable.
  • Attention to Detail: Exhibit meticulous attention to every aspect of your work.
  • Confidence: Believe in your abilities to coordinate and execute events successfully.
  • Excellent Communication: Maintain a positive attitude while communicating effectively with co-workers and clients.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 30 lbs frequently and stand/walk for 8-12 hours

Compensation & Schedule:

  • Part-time: Weekends & Evenings
  • $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
