Title: Risk Finance Coordinator
Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM Monday-Friday
Tyler, TX 75701 - Onsite
Duration: 12 Weeks

Summary:
The Coordinator Risk Finance administers the daily operations related to the procurement and cancellation of professional liability insurance for Hospital's employed physicians and employed physician programs, and for responding to requests for certificates of insurance. The position assists the Risk Finance Manager as needed with collection, organization and transmittal of information from and to health care centers and facilities, corporate office and support centers, state agencies, insurance brokers and insurers concerning all lines of commercial property and casualty coverage, and Hospital's self-insurance programs.
Also assists in reviewing the accuracy of insurance premium and other risk finance provider invoices and preparing invoices for payment.
The position requires a dependable and flexible person who can communicate and work with physicians, physician office managers, health care facility and other organizational representatives, insurance company underwriters, and brokers.
The Risk Finance Coordinator also handles administrative functions related to the Texas Occupational Injury Assistance Program (TOIAP) Appeals Committee and System wide safety and security and emergency preparedness committees and groups, at the direction of the System Director of Risk Finance

Contacts insurers, physician practice managers, department directors and risk management personnel to obtain appropriate professional liability coverage for new hires, close out coverage, procure extended reporting coverage, and annually renew coverage for certain
