Job description

KHS&S, one of the largest specialty wall and ceiling contractors in the U.S., is an experienced Corporate Safety Manager to lead and elevate our company-wide safety program across multiple regions and project sites. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for protecting our people, strengthening compliance, and driving a culture where safety is a core value.

The primary duties and responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve corporate safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Serve as the company liaison with regulatory agencies
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies across regions
  • Monitor job sites to proactively identify hazards and prevent incidents
  • Analyze safety metrics (leading and lagging indicators) to drive improvements
  • Lead investigations into accidents, injuries, and near-misses
  • Identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Partner on claims management and return-to-work programs
  • Hire, train, and mentor safety and risk management staff
  • Provide coaching and leadership development across regions
  • Deliver and coordinate safety training programs (fall protection, scaffolding, lifts, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of construction safety, EHS, or occupational health and safety experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational/Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred but not required
  • CHST, ASP, or CSP required.
  • Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards
  • Experience with incident investigation, audits, and compliance reporting
  • Analytical mindset with experience using safety data to drive decisions
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
