While supporting the goals and objectives of the hospital and upholding the ethics of the profession of pharmacy, the Manager Clinical Pharmacy facilitates the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective drug therapies. This position serves as a professional practice leader, educator, and mentor and has an advanced practice role functioning as a clinical specialist both within the pharmacy and within interdisciplinary teams. The position will report to the Director of Pharmacy. This position will play a key role in managing operations, logistics, finance, safety, and risk management for the pharmacy department.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Required:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent pharmacy (or similar) work experience
  • Active State Pharmacist License in good standing in the state in which the employee works

Preferred:
  • Minimum of 1 year in a leadership position or pharmacy residency completed or supplemental Masters Degree (MBA, MS, MHA, etc)
  • Membership in the ASHP, ASCP, APHA and/or other professional associations is desirable.
