We're looking for full-time & part-time Night Supervisors (includes sandwich artist/cashier/CSR) to work at our Au Bon Pain Methodist Hospital location. Starting rate up to $18.00 an hour! If you are looking for a fun, fast-paced environment this is the opportunity for you!!
Our ideal candidate must be fully vaccinated including COVID-19 and have supervisory experience in the food industry!
Shifts available seven days a week 3:00pm - 11:00pm (shifts vary) must be flexible.
Responsibilities:
Overviews the daily activities and how employees perform during their shifts. Responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by handling requests or complaints. And in charge of maintaining a tidy and organized workspace stocked with essential supplies, while ensuring that production or service runs smoothly. Also, will be responsible for handling the sandwich artist/cashier/CSR tasks.
The sandwich artist is responsible for assembling sandwiches, wraps, salads and protein bowls while following recipes and adhering to NT standards. Orders are prepared in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner. The sandwich maker maintains and stocks their station and follows all food safety requirements. As a cashier, you are responsible for processing cash, debit, and credit card transactions on a point-of-sale system. Cashiers balance the cash drawer, make change and enter purchases. Customer service skills are required.

Requirements
  • Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to all grooming standards
  • Sets up station according to cafe guidelines
  • Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follows portion control and presentation specifications as set by the café
  • Restocks all items as needed throughout shift
  • Cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills
  • Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance
  • Ensure quality and safety of food by performing standard and any additional sanitary measures including sweeping of the floors, cleaning of surfaces, as well as proper covering and storage of food items according to standards and procedures
  • Work at efficient and consistent pace
  • Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling required
  • Effective communication skills
  • Follows all procedures and policies as outlined
  • Assists in financial accountability by correctly recording orders, receiving/giving change, and counting the drawer
  • Thanks the customers and invite them to return
  • Acts as a role model with customers and staff, and helps provide on-the-job training for new barista/cashier
  • Works with others in a team to support operations, standards and concept essence
