Job Title: Full Time Housekeeper- 2nd Shift

Client/working Location: Miami County Medical Center (MCMC), 2100 Baptiste Drive, Paola, KS 66071

Hours/Shift:

2nd Shift 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Schedule: Either Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday

Compensation:  $16.00 per hour starting rate

Vanguard Resources, an industry-leading, Facilities Management company, in operations 30 years, is actively hiring for our Housekeeping Team (Environmental Services/EVS) to work onsite at our client's site: Miami County Medical Center. We are searching for self-motivated, individuals who are committed to work and to showing up, who possess a great attitude, are those who are willing to learn AND follow established processes. Those who want to DO THE RIGHT THING! Hiring for 2nd shift hours; set scheduled days.


SAFETY 1st! All personal protective equipment (PPE), health screenings & immunizations are required/provided/paid by Vanguard Resources. Every VRI team member is a Safety Champion!

Position Summary: Cleanliness is of the utmost importance! Flexibility is required to work ANY task in housekeeping, at a moment's notice - patient room discharges, cleaning all fluids, trash removal, sweep & mop floors, dust, etc. The Housekeeper cleans assigned areas of the hospital to maintain an aseptic environment and to prevent healthcare-associated infection, using established, standard cleaning procedures and chemicals through the daily cleaning of assigned patient/non-patient areas and equipment according to a 7-Step cleaning process. All employees must demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, HIPAA regulations and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, confidential and courteous environment.
