What You'll Be Doing
As an Environmental Services Technician, you'll help maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming facility. Responsibilities may include:
  • Cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing patient/resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces
  • Performing routine floor care and general cleaning duties
  • Collecting and properly disposing of waste
  • Safely operating cleaning equipment and using cleaning products according to established procedures
  • Assisting with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and uniforms
  • Setting up rooms and assisting with moving furniture when needed
  • Following infection prevention, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
  • Identifying and reporting maintenance concerns, safety issues, or supply needs
  • Completing cleaning checklists and documenting work as required
  • Participating in training, team meetings, and departmental initiatives
