Job Title: Environmental Services / Floor Tech — Evening Shifts


Company: Ness Construction - Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 / hour Type: Short-term with temp-to-perm opportunity Shifts: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

Location: Medical District Downtown Chicago

  • Must live in the Chicagoland area to apply. 

About the Role - 

  • Ness Construction is hiring Environmental Services and Floor Techs to work at well-regarded medical facilities. This is general cleaning and floor care work in a professional healthcare environment — steady hours, real responsibility, and a paycheck that doesn't compete with your class schedule.
  • You'll work evenings alongside a small crew, keeping spaces clean and presentable for patients, staff, and visitors. Training is provided, and strong performers are considered for permanent placement.

What We're Looking For - 

  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable being on your feet and active for a full shift
  • Willingness to learn floor care equipment (experience is a plus, not a requirement)
  • Professional demeanor appropriate for a healthcare setting
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements - 

  • Must pass a background check
  • Reliable transportation to and from the worksite (shifts end after standard transit hours)
  • Must live in the Chicagoland area to apply.
