Position Summary:

  • The Environmental Services Floor Technician is responsible for Collington's cleanliness and appearance, including the Community Building, Health Center, Apartment Building, Cottages, and Villas.
  • Ensure that building interiors are well-maintained by performing tasks within assigned areas.
  • This includes operating carpet cleaning equipment and floor scrubbing machines, vacuuming carpets, cleaning spots from walls and carpets, mopping floors, and assisting with meeting room setups.
  • Manage trash and recycle removal, ensure the timely completion of work orders, and maintain stocked and organized floor tech supplies.
  • Uphold outstanding cleanliness in all assigned areas.
  • Flexibility in availability is required, including the ability to work weekends and some holidays.
  • Excellent customer service skills are a must when interacting with residents and team members.
  • Must be a team player and collaborate effectively with other members of the Environmental Services Department.
  • Exceptional time management and consistent attendance are necessary skills for this role.
