Lori’s Gifts is the nation’s leading operator of hospital gift shops . . . We are the expert in outsourced retail solutions because we have built our business around partner relationships. Though we operate as a large scale retailer, we provide a personalized boutique experience with premier concierge services.

What does a Store Planner do?

Designs new store layout, focusing on drawing, outlines and scope of work on new store build outs.

  • Creates a binder of drawings based on layout revisions through space planning collaboration to include project scope of work, electrical/data placement, slat wall installation, flooring layout, lighting plan, and fixture layout.
  • Develops a preliminary fixture plan to identify specific placement of core electrical/data based on fixture and department locations for layout review.
  • Selects finishes to be used in store design to best compliment the Hospital design with the use of materials that work well in a high retail environment.
  • Participate in conference calls with the Hospital Administration to review the scope of work as outlined in the binder or drawings and timeline.
  • Schedules the new store installations, remodels and relocations to fit within the Hospital’s timeline of events and mandatory Lori’s Gifts store prep lead time.
  • Maintains the Installation Activity Schedule by organizing the Activity sheets as received from the New Business Directors to identify upcoming installations in date sequential order.
  • Maintains the AutoCAD files, PDF Files and pictures for all stores and the Support Center.
  • Prepares blank Inventory fixture layouts monthly for upcoming store inventories.



Requirements:

What are the professional qualifications of a Lori's Gifts Store Planner?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of retail store planning/design experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience in AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite and Adobe
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with a major department/specialty store
