Job description

Are you a proven healthcare sales leader who thrives on coaching teams, building relationships, and driving growth? Choice Hospice is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead Business Development Liaisons across an assigned territory while expanding our referral partnerships and advancing our mission of providing exceptional hospice care.

What You'll Do

As an Area Sales Manager, you will oversee the business development operations within your assigned territory, ensuring growth objectives are achieved while supporting a culture of excellence and compassionate service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Hospice Business Development Liaisons (BDLs).
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor new sales team members.
  • Partner with the VP of Sales to develop and execute territory growth strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and healthcare providers.
  • Monitor sales performance and ensure territory goals are achieved.
  • Collaborate with facility administrators, clinical leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in community outreach, networking, and marketing events to increase brand awareness.
  • Assist with the development of new programs and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
  • Promote Choice Hospice's mission, values, and culture through professional leadership and community engagement.
Qualifications

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Required Experience

  • Healthcare sales leadership experience required.
  • Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring sales professionals preferred.
  • Hospice, Home Health, or post-acute healthcare experience strongly preferred.
  • Marketing, communications, or public relations experience required
