TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time hospitalist physician to join our hospitalist team at Conway Medical Center in Conway, South Carolina, close to Myrtle Beach. Conway Medical Center is a 222-bed, full service hospital with a closed 32-bed medical/surgical ICU. This is an employed position with health benefits and retirement options. Responsibilities for this position include rounding, admitting and discharging of patients with an average patient census of 18.

Facility Description
Conway Medical Center is a trusted leader in healthcare and has served the medical needs of Horry County and surrounding communities for nearly a century. This non-profit medical center's roots run deep in Horry County. Today, Conway Medical Center has 210 inpatient beds and is one of the county's largest employers with over 1500 staff members. Conway Medical Center's medical staff is comprised of approximately 200 physicians, representing 30 specialties. Diagnostic services include cardiac catheterization, PET scanning, two high-speed GE CT Systems including a 64-slice CT scanner, 3-D Mammography with SmartCurve technology, 3-D heart scans, MRI, and more. The facility also offers an outpatient physical therapy and cardiac rehabilitation program. Conway Medical Center specializes in general and vascular surgery, joint replacement surgery, spine surgery, medical care to include critical care, telemetry, inpatient dialysis, palliative care, obstetrics, pediatrics and women's services.
