Job Purpose

HRC is looking for a Marketing Coordinator who can create and support execute marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, build community and support HRC New Business (merchandise and performance parts) initiatives in their Torrance, California location. If IndyCar, IMSA, and F1 are already part of your weekly rhythmโ€”and you can translate that passion into compelling digital storytellingโ€”this role is for you.
Youโ€™ll support our social media, digital platforms, and e commerce initiatives, helping bring the excitement of motorsports to fans everywhere. This role blends creativity with execution, and requires someone who can move fast, stay organized, and think strategically.

Key Accountabilities

Social Media
โ€ข    Production/Vendor Management:
     o    Directly liaise with vendors to support creative & strategic execution, including drafting briefs, proposal analysis, and day-to-day comms throughout execution 
     o    Assist with production shoots and event coverage.
     o    Lead asset management and support organic copy deck creation/management
โ€ข    Content Strategy:  
     o    Support oversee HRCโ€™s editorial calendar, including pieces of unique content for both organic and paid programming
     o    Support driving social media content strategy including caption copy, publishing considerations for all social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and other emerging                    platforms 
     o    For paid social in particular, assist in planning, executing, and optimizing paid social campaigns, including audience targeting, creative needs, and performance tracking.
โ€ข    Community Management: Engage with fans, respond to comments, and monitor motorsports conversations to keep our community active and informed.
โ€ข    Race & Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date on motorsports news, race results, team updates, and social trends to keep content timely and relevant.


Digital & E Commerce
โ€ข    Website Updates: Assist with updates to the HRC brand siteโ€”product pages, race news, promotional content, and more.
โ€ข    E Commerce Coordination: Support product launches, merchandising updates, and digital asset organization.
โ€ข    Email Marketing: Help build, QA, and deploy email campaigns including race recaps, product drops, and promotions.
โ€ข    Analytics: Support reporting across web and email channels to help optimize performance and user experience.


Bonus Skills
โ€ข    Content Creation: Produce motorsports driven content during race weekend and event coverage, behind the scenes moments, business (brand, merch and performance parts) spotlights and more.
โ€ข    Graphic Design: Experience creating social graphics, race weekend templates, promotional assets, or simple motion graphics.
โ€ข    Photo/Video Editing: Ability to edit short form content for reels, highlights, and storytelling. 
โ€ข    Reporting & Insights: Compile weekly/monthly analytics across organic and paid channels, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

โ€ข    2โ€“3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
โ€ข    A genuine passion for motorsports - IndyCar, IMSA, and F1 should already be part of your daily feed.
โ€ข    Experience managing both organic and paid social efforts.
โ€ข    Understanding of paid media campaigns, including audience targeting, creative strategy, and performance metrics.
โ€ข    Strong communication skills and an eye for compelling visual storytelling.
โ€ข    Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
โ€ข    Experience with e commerce platforms and email marketing tools.
โ€ข    Ability to work quickly, stay organized, and adapt to the fast pace of race season.
โ€ข    A collaborative mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
