3rd Shift Guest Service Representative/Night Auditor

At Home2 Suites Plymouth, our Night Auditor is the overnight heartbeat of the hotel-combining guest service, attention to detail, and a touch of problem-solving magic.


This role is perfect for someone who enjoys independence, takes pride in accuracy, and understands that even at 2:00 AM, hospitality matters.


What You'll Do

As our Night Auditor, you'll balance both the numbers and the guest experience:


Guest Experience & Service

  • Welcome late arrivals with a warm, friendly, and professional presence
     
  • Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and overnight requests
     
  • Ensure guests feel safe, valued, and cared for throughout the night
     
  • Handle guest questions or concerns calmly and confidently
     

Night Audit & Operations

  • Complete the nightly audit process to reconcile daily transactions
     
  • Balance room, restaurant, and market accounts with accuracy
     
  • Prepare reports for hotel leadership to start the next day strong
     
  • Ensure the front desk and lobby remain organized and presentable
     

Hotel Care & Awareness

  • Conduct routine property walks to maintain safety and security
     
  • Set up the morning for success (coffee ready, lobby welcoming, details in place)
     
  • Be the reliable overnight presence our guests and team depend on

Requirements

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Great attention to detail
  • Thorough organizational skills, proficient in accomplishing all tasks
  • Considerable knowledge of computer systems for registration, reservations and backup systems
  • Above average mathematical comprehension to understand and interpret numbers as they apply to operations in hotels
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with employees and guests
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers, some of whom will require a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy, to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts

Education/Experience

  • Comparable hotel size and scope of experience preferred
