A home support worker provides in-home health care and assistance to clients in stable condition who need ongoing care but no longer need to be in a medical facility. As a home support worker, your job involves helping clients with daily activities, like personal hygiene, meal prep, eating, changing linens, and administering medications and therapies. In addition to working directly with clients, you must advocate for your clients with their health care teams, including other home care aides, nurses, and physicians.
