Job description

Job Summary:

The Manager of Retail and Events is responsible for organizing lead-generating retail and consumer events in 3 Markets. Those Markets consist of Philadelphia, New York & New Jersey. This will include identifying retail and event opportunities, developing scripts and collateral and management of retail and event staff, including their hours & productivity. This will include identifying & scheduling events such as Home Show, State Fairs, Fairs, etc. to staff with a team that generates quality appointments for our sales force. You are responsible for interviewing, training, teaching, & going coaching of the team of promoters which consist of visiting promoters on a consistent basis at retail partners & events.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Event Planning and logistics

Staff Training and Coordination:

ยท Manage a team of promoters to generate leads for the sales force across retail partnerships & events.

ยท Manages the execution and logistics of retail shows and exhibitions, including set-up, break- down and transportation of the display/space, promotional items, literature, scripts and other details

ยท Interview, hire, train, teach, coach & evaluate promoters to achieve PJ Fitz company standards.

ยท Maintain adequate staffing levels to hit budget goals. Work closely with recruiting to ensure the number of interviews needed to stay staffed.

ยท Develop promotersโ€™ schedules to hit goals. Schedules are to always be 2 weeks out.

ยท Consistent visits to promoters within retail & events spaces to coach, train, shadow and inspect what is expected in the field.

Work Schedule: Full Time, M-F 8:000AM-4:30PM (Weekends during event season, Off-days change during event season)

Travel:50% - โ€œOfficeโ€ Market will be home location (Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey) โ€“ 1 Week in each of the other 2 Markets, 2 Weeks in Home Market. **Subject to change during Home Show Season to meet business needs.
