Position Summary

The Home Health Account Executive is responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, case managers, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals. This role serves as a key ambassador for TruCare Home Health and plays a critical role in achieving census growth goals.

The successful candidate will travel throughout their assigned territory, maintain strong referral partner relationships, and educate healthcare professionals about TruCare's services and patient care solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other healthcare providers.
  • Generate new referral sources while strengthening existing referral partnerships.
  • Conduct in-person sales calls, presentations, and educational meetings with healthcare professionals.
  • Represent TruCare Home Health at networking events, community outreach programs, healthcare events, and professional associations.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure smooth patient admissions and transitions of care.
  • Monitor referral activity and maintain accurate records in company CRM systems.
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies to achieve referral and census goals.
  • Educate referral partners on home health services, eligibility requirements, and patient benefits.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, healthcare regulations, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales activity, territory, and performance reports.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 1 year of Home Health, Hospice, Healthcare Sales, Medical Sales, or related healthcare business development experience
  • Proven ability to develop referral relationships and generate business growth
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
  • Ability to travel within a 50-mile radius of the assigned territory
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Preferred

  • Experience working with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, and senior care facilities
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and home health regulations
  • Existing healthcare referral network within the local market
