Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and edit win stories, impact narratives, technical reports, white papers, briefing materials, fact sheets, presentations, web content, and stakeholder-facing products that showcase NOAA-funded research, scientific achievements, and program outcomes.
- Translate complex scientific, technical, and operational information into clear, accurate, and engaging content for both technical and non-technical audiences, including Congressional briefings, leadership communications, budget justifications, and strategic plans.
- Conduct interviews with researchers, Principal Investigators, program managers, and stakeholders to gather information and develop impactful communications products aligned with AP style and NOAA editorial standards.
- Support website, social media, newsletter, and digital communications activities, and coordinate document reviews, version control, and publication schedules to promote NOAA programs, partnerships, and research impacts.
Required Qualifications:
