Summary

As a PMO Lead at Gainwell, you will lead project management governance for a large-scale DDI program. You will establish and oversee project controls, governance processes, reporting, and delivery management to support successful program execution.

Working closely with the Engagement Lead and Deputy Engagement Lead, you will drive governance, schedule performance, deliverable management, RAID management, change control, stakeholder communications, and executive reporting across all program workstreams.

Your role in our mission
  • Establish and lead PMO governance, project controls, and delivery management processes across the DDI program.
  • Ensure consistent project management practices, standards, and accountability across all workstreams and domains.
  • Oversee governance activities including schedule, scope, deliverables, RAID, change control, reporting, and quality management.
  • Support executive and client governance through project reviews, leadership reporting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead PMO resources and drive performance against program KPIs, SLAs, and delivery commitments.
What we're looking for
  • 12+ years of experience in project management, PMO leadership, program controls, delivery governance, or large-scale implementation program management.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting large-scale healthcare technology programs, including Medicaid, MMIS/MES, PBM, system implementation, modernization, or related healthcare delivery initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading PMO governance across complex, multi-workstream programs, including schedule integration, RAID management, change control, deliverables, quality, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Experience leading PMO and project delivery teams, including project managers, PMO analysts, schedulers, technical writers, and other program support resources.
  • Strong executive and client engagement skills, with experience supporting governance forums, leadership reporting, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration; PMP certification preferred, with PMI-ACP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma, SAFe, Microsoft Project, or related tools experience a plus.
