Job description

Residential HVAC New Construction Install Helper - Join the Team at Custom Air, Building Comfort from the Ground Up!

Do you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and seeing a project come to life from start to finish? Join our growing team as a Residential HVAC New Construction Install Helper and help install the heating and cooling systems that keep families comfortable in their new homes.

What You'll Do
  • Install HVAC systems in newly constructed residential homes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Install ductwork, vents, air handlers, condensers, and related HVAC components.
  • Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and local building codes.
  • Work collaboratively with builders, supervisors, and fellow technicians.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise.
  • Complete required documentation and job-related reports.

What We're Looking For
  • HVAC installation experience preferred (new construction experience a plus).
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and installation practices.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials.
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions and construction environments.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mentality.
