The Holiday Inn Express and Suites Platteville is hiring for a part time breakfast host to join our award wining team.

If you are hard-working, have a positive -can do attitude and strive to deliver exceptional customer service each day, we are looking for you!


Must be available weekends and holidays.


The Breakfast Host is responsible for coordinating the breakfast service and maintaining a cleaned and stocked breakfast area. This person must deliver excellent customer service while interacting with guests.

Essential Functions: - Breakfast Host

  • Welcomes and thanks all guest for their patronage.
  • Set up breakfast stations.
  • Maintain appropriate quantity of food and beverage at hot, cold and beverage stations during breakfast hours.
  • Keep area clean and stocked.
  • Interact with guests pleasantly during shift.
  • Put away breakfast at the end of the shift.
  • Cleaning of kitchen and breakfast area at the end of the shift.
  • Performs routine daily tasks as set forth in the daily checklist.
  • Knowledge on facilities and amenities associated with the hotel.
  • Communicate with guest and employees both verbally and in writing.

Supportive Functions:

  • Assist all guests as necessary to ensure a positive experience.
  • Any other tasks as requested by direct supervisor or other hotel management staff.


Requirements

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees and guests.
  • Organizational skills.

Must be available weekends and holidays.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Our hotel functions seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
