Position Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to provide a pleasant and safe environment. This role requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Clean, sanitize, and refresh guest rooms according to brand and hotel standards.
  • Change linens, make beds, replace towels, and restock amenities.
  • Clean bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and mirrors.
  • Dust, vacuum, and maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas.
  • Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, and room status updates.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and equipment.
  • Follow proper sanitation, safety, and cleaning protocols.
  • Provide friendly, courteous service to guests when encountered.
  • Ensure compliance with IHG brand cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
