Position Impact:
The Senior Account Manager - Multifamily/HOA is responsible for driving sales growth by managing and expanding relationships with multifamily and homeowners association (HOA) clients, increasing the company's footprint within MDU and HOA communities while serving as the primary point of contact for account support, service coordination, and issue resolution. This role partners closely with property managers, board members, and internal teams to ensure service delivery meets contractual commitments and client expectations. The Account Manager proactively identifies client needs, communicates service updates, and supports retention and satisfaction across assigned accounts while maintaining a strong understanding of company products, services, and processes.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
• Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• A valid driver's license, subject to successful verification through a DMV check, is mandatory
• Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) Business Administration, Communications, Real Estate, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, client services, property management support, telecommunications, utilities, or a related industry
• Proven experience in account management, client services, or supervisory roles, with 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience managing multifamily, HOA, property management, telecommunications, utilities, or related service-based accounts
• Demonstrated experience managing complex client relationships and service agreements independently
• Strong knowledge of multifamily and HOA operational structures, including property management and board governance processes
• Proven ability to analyze account performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend solutions to improve client satisfaction and retention
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse stakeholders, including executive leadership and HOA boards
• Proficiency in CRM platforms, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to effectively communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, as necessary for effective job performance and workplace communication
• Bilingual communication skills are considered a plus, particularly when serving diverse communities
Skills:
• Proficient use of MS Office applications including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; teleconferencing applications
• Functional use of common office equipment, computers, and office software
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Account Management & Client Relationship Oversight
• Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for assigned multifamily and HOA accounts, building and maintaining strong long-term client relationships
• Independently manage client communications, expectations, and service plans to ensure contractual obligations and performance standards are met
• Advise clients on service options, enhancements, and best practices aligned with their operational needs
Strategic Planning & Problem Resolution
• Analyze account performance, service trends, and client feedback to proactively identify risks, escalation needs, and improvement opportunities
• Exercise independent judgment to develop and recommend solutions to complex service, operational, or relationship challenges
• Lead issue resolution efforts by coordinating cross-functional teams and guiding outcomes to completion
• Analyzes account-related costs and stakeholder involvement, identifies opportunities for cost-sharing or value exchange, and develops business justifications to support service investments and client decisions
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership Support
• Partner with internal teams such as Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Support to align resources and deliver high-quality service
• Represent client interests internally while balancing company goals, policies, and operational capabilities
• Prepare and present account updates, performance reviews, and recommendations to internal leadership and external stakeholders
Account Growth, Retention & Compliance
• Support account retention and growth by identifying opportunities for service expansion, contract renewals, and upsell initiatives
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies, and applicable regulations
• Maintain accurate account documentation, records, and reporting within CRM and internal systems
• Drives service penetration across assigned multifamily and HOA accounts by coordinating and supporting multiple sales channels, including door-to-door, digital (.com), and call center engagement strategies
Vehicle Maintenance and Travel:
• Maintains vehicle/equipment pre-op/post-op to be prepared to perform required duties
• Maintains a clean driving record as defined by the current fleet insurance underwriter
• Spends a significant portion of the workday traveling in a vehicle visiting various locations and spending time both indoors and outdoors, including businesses and/or residents depending on the nature of the job
• May be required to work overtime, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies, or be on-call as needed to ensure work is completed
