Summary

The HOA Business Developer Representative is responsible for developing new and maintaining existing business relationships focused on Homeowners Associations (HOAs). The HOA Business Developer Representative will also create new relationships with community associations, management companies, and related stakeholders while building a referral pipeline of individual associations. This role will conduct high-volume cold calling, prospecting, and relationship-building activities to introduce Real Time Resolutions' HOA delinquent assessment collection services and generate new client partnerships.

This is an ideal role for a driven and sales-minded professional who thrives on outbound calling, relationship building, is comfortable overcoming objections and enjoys building a pipeline from the ground up.

ย Essential Functions

  • Research and establish relationships with community management companies, their sales teams, and delinquency managers to qualify communities that can benefit from Real Time Resolutions services via outbound cold calls with related decision makers.
  • Identify and qualify prospective clients based on business needs, portfolio size, and collection opportunities
  • Present and explain Real Time Resolutions' HOA debt collection and servicing solutions in a professional, consultative manner.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through consistent prospecting and follow-up.
  • Schedule discovery calls, demos, or handoffs to senior sales leadership as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of outreach, conversations, and pipeline activity in CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales leadership, operations, compliance) to ensure accurate messaging and smooth onboarding of new clients.
  • Stay informed on HOA industry trends, regulations, and competitive offerings.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and performance metrics (calls, leads, appointments, new accounts).

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related field equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in inside sales, outbound sales, or business development.
  • Proven ability to conduct cold calls and handle objections professionally.
  • Basic proficiency with CRM tools, call tracking systems, and sales-related technology.
  • Ability to quickly learn, ask about and clearly communicate regulated services, including debt collection and mortgage servicing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access).
  • High level of motivation, resilience, and comfort with rejection in a performance-driven environment.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound judgment with effective critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional and articulate written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check per client requirements.
  • Must be authorized to work permanently in the United States (sponsorship is not available now or in the future).ย 

Work Environment

This job operates in a hybrid setting, splitting time between a professional office environment and a remote home office set up. In both scenarios, this role routinely uses standard office equipment, including electronic keyboard, mouse, and telephone.ย 

  • Office Call Center: When in the office, the environment is a professional office setting that includes a call center environment. This includes working alongside other team members in a structured setting, which may involve background noise and the necessity for cooperative and coordinated team interactions.
  • Remote Home Office: When working remotely, the employee is expected to maintain a dedicated and quiet workspace free from distractions, mirroring the professional standards of the call center environment. Employees must ensure a reliable internet connection and the capability to securely access company systems.ย 

Both environments require the ability to maintain high productivity, professionalism, and consistent communication standards. The company may provide specific guidelines on the home office setup to ensure compliance with security and performance requirements.

Physical Demands
