About Us

We are a fast-growing healthcare informatics and population health management SaaS company focused on supporting organizations that care for high-complexity, high-severity patient populations, including Medicare Advantage, Medicaid Managed Care, and ACA plans, ACOs, health systems, MSOs, and primary care groups. Our platform integrates EHR, claims, device, and care management data to power risk stratification, cohort building, care gap identification, clinical workflows, outcomes-aligned analytics and provide real-time insights.

We are building a next-generation data infrastructure to support AI-driven care management, interoperability (FHIR/HL7), and value-based care performance optimization.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Specialist (Healthcare Data Engineer) to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and operationalize large-scale healthcare datasets, including EHR, claims, lab, pharmacy, and device data.

This role is mission-critical to our SaaS platform and will directly support cohort stratification, predictive analytics, clinical reporting, interoperability, and AI-driven care management workflows.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in healthcare data ecosystems (membership, ICD-10 codes, CPT/HCPCS codes, other claims data elements) and can build reliable, secure, and high-performance ETL pipelines in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

Data Pipeline Architecture & ETL Development

  • Ingest data from EHR systems, claims clearinghouses, HIEs, APIs, flat files, and third-party data vendors
  • Leverage automated workflows for data extraction, transformation, normalization, and loading into data warehouses/lakes
  • Optimize batch and near-real-time data ingestion pipelines for performance and reliability
  • Implement robust data validation, error handling, and reconciliation logic

Data Modeling & Warehousing

  • Build dimensional models for analytics, quality measures, risk scoring, and reporting
  • Support cohort building and stratification frameworks used in population health and value-based care
  • Ensure high data integrity, lineage tracking, and auditability

Analytics & Product Enablement

  • Partner with Software Development teams to deliver clean, usable datasets
  • Support predictive modeling, risk stratification, and prescriptive analytics initiatives
  • Enable dashboards, reporting layers, and client-facing analytics products

Compliance, Security & Governance

  • Ensure HIPAA-compliant data handling and secure PHI processing
  • Implement data governance, encryption, and access control best practices
  • Maintain audit logs and documentation for regulatory and client requirements
  • Support SOC 2, HITRUST, and healthcare security frameworks

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 1–3+ years of experience in ETL development, data engineering, or data integration
  • Experience working with large-scale healthcare datasets (EHR, claims, or clinical data)
  • Experience in healthcare SaaS, population health, or value-based care environments
  • Knowledge of CMS programs (ACO REACH, Medicare Advantage, HEDIS, Stars, Risk Adjustment)
  • Familiarity with OMOP, FHIR data models, or clinical data normalization frameworks
  • Knowledge of healthcare quality measures and care management data workflows

Technical Stack

  • Languages: SQL
  • Databases: SQL

Key Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • High attention to data quality and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment
  • Strong documentation and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Generous PTO and holidays
  • Opportunity to work at the forefront of healthcare AI, interoperability, and outcomes-aligned care
