Job Summary: The Atlanta Hawks Live Entertainment and Production department is looking for a full-time assistant during the 2026-2027 season to support the Entertainment Experience team. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, organized, have the ability to prioritize tasks, hit tight deadlines, and navigate a busy event and game schedule. The primary role is to support the Manager, Entertainment Experience and Coordinator, Entertainment Experience by helping with load ins, set ups, talent scheduling and other duties associated with game day and community activations. This position will also act as a leader for the Atlanta Hawks Flight Crew which is the official brand ambassador team for the Atlanta Hawks.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with Manager and Coordinator to execute activations at Hawks games and at community events.

  • Oversee onsite activations on the concourse at State Farm arena during Hawks games.

  • Oversee Flight Crew activations at community events.

  • Ensure onsite activations are set up correctly and efficiently for fan engagement.

  • Load in and load out elements such as tents, tables, games, prizes, etc.

  • Drive company vehicles which include cargo vans and box trucks to and from events.

  • Manage and organize off-site storage, ensuring all items are organized and prepped for load in, load out, community and game day responsibilities.

Assist with in-office administrative duties such as scheduling, calendar updates, creating scripts, etc.

  • Assist Coordinator, Entertainment experience with scheduling the Flight Crew for games and events.

  • Keep game and event calendars up to date.

  • Assist with creating game day scripts for the Flight Crew.

  • Send out game day and event emails providing details to Flight Crew to ensure games and events run smoothly.

  • Other in office duties as assigned.

Work with Manager to schedule appearances for Harry the Hawk.

  • Keep Harry's appearance calendar up to date.

  • Send out emails with event details to ensure appearances run smoothly.

  • Work with Harry at community appearances.

Requirements:

  • Somone who is looking to start their career in the Sports and Entertainment industry.

  • Experience in event production.

  • Experience working in an office setting.

  • Must be highly organized, resourceful, and detailed-oriented

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience operating large vehicles such as a box truck is a plus

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sport Management, Business Administration or a related field.


Working Conditions:

  • Available to work various hours including evenings/nights, weekends and holidays

  • Highly organized, resourceful, detailed-oriented, quick learner

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
