Job Description

We are looking for Cruise Staff (activities staff), Sports Staff, Youth Staff, Light Technicians, Sound Technicians, Broadcast Technicians and Riggers.

Cruise Staff: hosts and participates in shipboard recreational, entertainment and social programs geared towards adults and families. Serves as master of ceremonies to motivate, inform and entertain small and large groups of guests

Sports Staff: Explains and demonstrates use of apparatus and equipment for: climbing wall, in-line skating, golf simulator, Flowrider and any other related activities.Leads Vitality classes and events. Organizes and conducts tournaments. May serve or participate as master of ceremonies.

Youth Staff: Determines the activities to initiate based on the ages and the needs of the children assigned to participate in the scheduled activity. Organizes and leads a variety of established age appropriate activities.

Light Technician: responsible for the programming, operation and maintenance of the lighting, show control and fog/haze systems in certain entertainment venues aboard the ship for a variety of events and activities

Sound Technician:responsible for the operation and maintenance of all aspects of the sound system(s) in certain entertainment venues aboard the ship for a variety of events and activities

Broadcast Technician: shooting & editing material for end of cruise DVD and in-cabin tv's - responsible for movies, satellite or local tv stations & onboard activities to be shown in cabins onboard.

Rigging Specialist: set up & operates all aspects of theatrical rigging systems (manual and automated) - maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Cruise Staff: Master of Ceremonies, 1/2 years experience in entertainment industry

Sports Staff: Sports or physical Fitness education, minimum 2/3 years experience, preferably experience with rockcclimbing, outdoor activities etc

Youth Staff: Bachelor Degree (any subject), minimum 2/3 years experience working with large groups of children (YMCA, teacher, youth groups etc).

Light Technician: relevant education, minimum 2/3 years experience preferably in theater using Whole HOG and Martin Intelligent Lighting - repair and maintenance

Sound Technician:relevant education, minimum 2/3 years experience preferably in theater with both analog and digital systems - repair and maintenance

Broadcast Technician: relevant education, minimum 2/3 years broadcasting experience with shooting and editing.

Rigging Specialist: relevant education, minimum 2/3 years theatrical rigging experience (automated and manual systems)
