Special Finance Manager

DRIVEN

Newmarket, ON

CA$100K - CA$180K/yr

Full-time

Re-posted 13 days ago

Job description

EXPERIENCED SPECIAL FINANCE MANAGERWe have the leads, the lenders and the inventory. We need someone who knows what to do with them.

DRIVEN is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Special Finance Manager who can take ownership of a deal from the first conversation through approval, vehicle selection, delivery and funding.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with proven experience in subprime automotive finance who understands how to read a credit bureau, structure an approval, work lender relationships and close challenging deals.

We’ve invested heavily in our marketing, technology, inventory and lender relationships. Our Finance Managers receive a consistent flow of opportunities—we need an experienced producer who has the urgency, discipline and skill to convert them.

You Should Already Know How To
  • Read and analyze a credit bureau

  • Identify the real obstacles standing between the customer and an approval

  • Structure applications strategically before submitting them

  • Match each deal with the right lender

  • Navigate income, stability, debt-service and loan-to-value requirements

  • Work approvals instead of giving up after the first decline

  • Communicate effectively with credit analysts and lender representatives

  • Select vehicles that meet both the approval and the customer’s needs

  • Present payments, rates, warranty and protection products confidently

  • Conduct an engaging pitch and close

  • Follow up consistently and professionally

  • Manage your pipeline from lead to funded delivery

  • Maintain accurate notes and activity within the CRM

What DRIVEN Provides
  • A consistent flow of inbound leads and opportunities

  • An established prime and non-prime lender network

  • Access to more than 20 automotive lenders

  • A large and diverse vehicle inventory

  • Strong marketing and a recognizable, growing brand

  • A modern CRM with tools to help manage and convert your pipeline

  • Experienced leadership and hands-on support when needed

  • A structured pitch-and-close process

  • On-site service and reconditioning support

  • Competitive earning potential for proven producers

  • A company that is investing in long-term growth

You will not be expected to build your business from nothing. The opportunities are here. Your responsibility is to work them properly, structure the deals and turn approvals into deliveries.

Who We’re Looking For

We want someone who:

  • Has proven Special Finance Manager experience in an automotive dealership

  • Understands the Ontario subprime lending landscape

  • Has established knowledge of prime and non-prime lenders

  • Can demonstrate a history of approvals, deliveries and gross production

  • Takes full ownership of every lead and every deal

  • Follows up relentlessly without needing to be chased

  • Can build trust with customers who may have been declined elsewhere

  • Is organized, coachable and accountable

  • Performs well in a fast-paced, high-opportunity environment

  • Wants to build a long-term career with a growing dealer group

This Role Is for a Producer

We are not looking for someone who simply submits applications and waits for an answer.

We need a Finance Manager who knows how to build a deal, defend an application, overcome obstacles and create a path forward for the customer.

Someone who understands that an approval is only the beginning—the deal still needs to be presented, closed, delivered and funded.

Why DRIVEN?

DRIVEN is building more than a successful dealership. Our goal is to become one of Ontario’s most recognizable automotive groups, with multiple locations and opportunities for our strongest people to grow into leadership.

We don’t believe in constantly cycling through employees. We want experienced, talented people we can invest in, build around and take with us as the company expands.

If you are already successful in Special Finance but feel limited by a lack of leads, inventory, lender access, support or future opportunity, DRIVEN may be the place where you reach your next level.

Submit your résumé. Only applicants with relevant automotive Special Finance experience will be considered.

Location: DRIVEN, 220 Mulock Drive, Newmarket, Ontario
Position: Full-time Special Finance Manager
Experience: Previous automotive Special Finance experience is required
Compensation: Competitive, performance-based compensation with strong earning potential
