Job description

We are looking for an experienced Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to provide on-site technical support for end users in Wisconsin. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving day-to-day hardware and software issues, supporting walk-up requests, and keeping workstation environments running smoothly. The role calls for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can balance customer service with strong troubleshooting skills across desktop systems, printers, and core Microsoft technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver in-person technical assistance for employees by addressing walk-up support needs and resolving desktop-related issues in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and correct hardware, software, and operating system problems across Windows-based computers and peripheral devices.
• Prepare, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop systems for new and existing users, including imaging and workstation setup.
• Support Zebra printer functionality by identifying issues, troubleshooting problems, and coordinating solutions to minimize downtime.
• Manage incoming service desk requests, document work performed, and provide updates through the ticketing process.
• Administer basic user account and access tasks within Active Directory as part of end-user support activities.
• Assist with Microsoft Office 365 support by resolving common application, access, and configuration concerns.
• Maintain organized workstation standards and ensure devices are properly configured for business use.• 5+ years of experience in help desk, desktop support, or a similar end-user support role.
• Practical experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and other Microsoft desktop environments.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory for user account and access-related support tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, and peripheral issues with minimal supervision.
• Experience handling service desk tickets and managing multiple support requests effectively.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 support and common end-user application issues.
• Hands-on experience with PC setup, desktop imaging, and workstation deployment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to on-site technical support.
