Job description

We are looking for a Help Desk Support specialist to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. This is a Contract position for someone who enjoys solving day-to-day technical issues, supporting end users, and delivering dependable service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong troubleshooting ability with clear communication and a customer-focused approach to keep staff productive and systems running smoothly.


Responsibilities:

• Provide timely assistance to users by addressing incoming service desk requests and resolving technical problems efficiently.

• Support the setup, installation, and routine updating of software applications and user accounts across the organization.

• Record troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and follow-up details accurately to maintain complete support documentation.

• Identify issues that require advanced intervention and route them to the appropriate technical resources without delay.

• Deliver attentive, user-friendly support while maintaining a high standard of customer service in every interaction.

• Troubleshoot common problems related to Microsoft Windows environments, including Windows 10 and standard desktop applications.

• Assist with access-related requests and basic user administration tasks within Active Directory.

• Manage multiple support needs independently while prioritizing work to meet response expectations.

• Prior experience in a help desk, service desk, or technical support position.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, including Windows 10, and common office productivity software.
• Familiarity with service desk ticketing processes and day-to-day incident handling.
• Basic troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve routine technical issues.
• Experience supporting user accounts and access requests in Active Directory.
