For additional information about our company, visit our website at www.fisherind.com POSITION SCOPE The Superintendent is responsible for overall direct field supervision of employees, multiple subcontractors, enforcing plans and specification requirements, ensuring production goals, craftsmanship standards, and ensuring safety practices are met. PRIMARY DUTIESLead and understand all aspects of civil construction field operationsWorks closely with Project Manager to assist with job scheduling and appropriate staffing needsPlanning and coordination of all labor, materials, & equipment required to complete a projectMonitor field productivity to ensure work is completed in a cost effective and professional mannerProfessionally communicate with Project Manager and SubcontractorsAssist in the hiring, training and evaluation of new team membersCreate and maintain good working relationships with all employeesInteract with jurisdictional Inspectors, Architects, Owners, and othersComply with all OSHA and company policies, procedures, and standards of safetyPerform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS10+ years of construction superintendent experienceMulti Family or Hotel experienceExperience managing vertical construction Valid Driver's License Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policyStrong organizational and communication skills; must have the ability to give clear directions and instructionsAbility to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat above 100 degrees, cold, and rainTravel will be required Fisher Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
