Job description

About the role:

As a Senior Engineer, you will lead technical efforts in the design and implementation of safety-related Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems. This role requires strong engineering expertise, project leadership, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will report to the Functional and System Engineering Manager and be located at Warrendale, PA office on a hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review Functional Logic Diagrams and Design Specifications.

  • Perform reliability analyses using tools such as Reliability Workbench.

  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex system issues.

  • Support project planning, scheduling, and technical risk assessments.

  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

  • Prepare and present detailed technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Systems, or Nuclear Engineering.

  • 5+ years of experience in I&C systems or safety-critical systems.

  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and reliability analysis tools.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., NRC standards) preferred.
