Job description

HOURS & SHIFT REQUIREMENTS: Full time 40 hours weekly Monday thru Friday. 8 - 5.
JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS: Under the general direction of the Director of Information Technology (IT), the Clinical Informatics Nurse is responsible for providing system workflow analysis, training, guidance and support for users of Electronic Medical Records gathered and stored in Meditech Expanse and other clinical systems. The Clinical Informatics Nurse performs regular visits, interaction and staff shadowing sessions with physicians and staff in their offices. Works with clinic staff and physician's to get the most out of our computerized solutions with the least amount of effort.
Incumbent must be a Registered Nurse or LPN with significant knowledge of computers, have experience with adult education and at least 2 years of experience working with physicians in a clinic or hospital setting using Meditech. Candidate will be highly proficient with using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook software. Must possess a current and valid motor vehicle driver's license and vehicle capable of traveling between clinics on a daily basis. Salary will be based on experience. Preferred candidate will have extensive Meditech experience, preferably with the Meditech Expanse platform.
