Job description

1.) Serve as primary minister to Fairfax Baptist Church's young adults and their families by teaching, coordinating small groups, planning fellowship events and providing pastoral care.

2.) Assist FBC in reviving our connection with young adults in our community.

3.) Assist FBC in building relationships with college students at George Mason University and in ministry to the student community.

4.) Participate in the overall life of the church.

5.) Participate and/or lead in worship in a variety of capacities including, but not limited to, prayers, readings, and sermons/lessons. The Resident will also participate in worship planning regularly.

6.) Participate in regular "debriefs" with the Pastor and staff at FBC. Attend weekly staff meetings when/where appropriate.

7.) On occasion, participate in pastoral tasks such as pastoral care, committee and/or event leadership as necessary.
